Kari’s Elevated Goddess View 11/7/16

Kari’s Elevated Goddess View of Conversations with Goddess M. “Return
of the Matriarch… It’s About Time” 11/06/16

Last Sunday on Conversations With Goddess M, we discussed the rise of
feminine energy, and how we can open ourselves to integrate with it
and bring balance into our lives.

Patriarchal societies are typically known just for their literal
characteristics, such as men holding major positions of power, but
they also come with masculine energy. When we operate out of masculine
energy, we try to control, push, and initiate everything. Masculine
energy has its place, but oftentimes we become unbalanced and too much
in our masculine and not in our feminine. The feminine teaches us
vulnerability, compassion, and creativity, among other things.
Feminine energy has been suppressed for a long time, but is now
returning to our consciousness and requesting that we make room for it
in our lives.

For those of us who have gotten used to operating in our masculine
energy, feminine characteristics, such as surrender, can seem
terrifying. I was taught, like many others, that hitting the pavement
and “grinding” was the only way to get ahead in the world. I still
find myself trying to control situations and potential outcomes
instead of just surrendering and allowing it to be what it is.
Sometimes, hitting the pavement won’t solve your problems, won’t bring
you peace, and won’t propel you ahead in your career. Sometimes,
instead of pushing, we just need to surrender. When we are in truly in
balance, we will have the capacity to be in a state of doing
(masculine) and being (feminine) simultaneously. Neither energy can
exist in its most divine state without the other, so when we allow
feminine energy into our lives, we also make room for our own
