Kari’s Elevated Goddess View Of Conversations with Goddess M. Self Love… Three Steps to Breaking the Shell. 4/03/2016
The phrase “coming out of your shell” is generally defined as someone who is being more of themselves than before, despite their insecurities and self-imposed limitations. On last Sunday’s show, we took the concept of “coming out of your shell” further. Instead of just coming out of your shell, why not break it completely? Why not heal the pain and remove the limitations that make up your “shell”, rather than live on a roller-coaster of moving in and out of your shell? Self-love is about breaking the shell. It’s about choosing to elevate rather than tolerate.
On the show, we provided three steps to breaking your shell. The first is Identify; you have to be willing to get to know yourself well enough to understand what you have to work on to grow as an individual. Once you can identify a limiting belief or insecurity or aspect of your “shell”, you can properly dismantle it.
The second step is Create. During this step, you actively and deliberately create the reality that you want for yourself, which can be done by affirmations and visualization. The reason why your shell exists in the first place is because it was created by self-limiting feelings and beliefs, most of which were formed during your childhood. So the trick is to create new feelings and choices, but feelings and choices that are in alignment with where you want to be, and more importantly, ones that feel good! During this step, keep in mind that affirmations have power because of the energy and feeling we give them. Creating a powerful affirmation isn’t necessarily about picking all the right words, it’s about affirming “I am” and fueling the affirmation with feeling.
The third step to breaking your shell is Detach, which is to release any attachments to having your life look or be a certain way. You may think you know exactly what you want to look like, but you have to remain open to the possibilities. As Goddess M, aka Malane Shani said during the show, she dreamed of being a world-renowned singer. Instead, she ended up being an international life and relationship coach and intuitive. Although her life didn’t end up looking exactly as she imagined, she still received the same abundance that she dreamed of as a singer. You may have big plans, but the universe could have even bigger plans for you, so it’s crucial to visualize what your dream life feels like and then step out of the way and allow spirit to help shape your new reality.
